Worldeka means one world, our world, our funny, crazy, beautiful world. Its great this place, but it could be even better! People are the key to making change and on the Internet there's load's of them. So how do you find them, how do you make an impact, how do you revolutionize this big wide wonderful world? Well that's simple, you need to make it smaller, you need to make it easier, you need to make it one - you need Worldeka

To paraphrase Gandhi slightly, We must be the change We want to see in the world. There's stuff we all want to do, but on our own it sometimes feels too hard - together though, wow, together we can do anything! Two people combined, inspiring, helping and encouraging each other can achieve far more than two individuals tirelessly grinding away at something - the whole is greater than the sum of its parts! That's where we can help. Worldeka is a collaborative space, so let's work out what needs to be done and then let's work together to do it. Let's form projects, let's create a movement, damn it...let's start a revolution!

Turn on, tune in and educate! Wanna be an astrophysicist, wanna know how to build a water filter, want to learn about mobilization...well go for it cos it's all on the Internet! Our world is getting smaller and freer, true meritocracy has become more and more achievable. We're not there yet, but hell knowledge is power! Worldeka has the tools and the resources, so if you have the information - upload it! People are getting online at a staggering rate, let's make sure when they tune in there's something worth looking at!

Its good this place, really really good. There's a lot of love here, and beauty and friendship and there are trees and tigers, and massive massive Icebergs, there's books and music and freshly squeezed juice, there are butterflies and bumblebees and chocolate! It's worth it this world we live in, worth some effort. Let's keep it nice, let's not screw it up or be greedy. With a bit of energy, enthusiasm and innovation from you guys we should be able to look after everybody, keep everything looking good and still eat chocolate!

It's happening, people are really doing this! There's millions of people trying to exact real change. They're committed, involved and actionized. Thousands of companies, charities, volunteers and advocates are striving to do good stuff and we want to encourage that, we want to give them a place to do their thing, and help them connect with others who can help them or share their goal. That's why there are special Worldeka spaces and resources for business, charities, groups and individuals - to help them, help everyone!

Change does happen; we can make it happen, amazing things have been achieved. Technology is empowering people, it's magnifying all our efforts. Jimmy Wales's Wikipedia has brought encyclopaedic knowledge to everyone with a web connection, OLPC has supplied computers to almost a million children and Peace day, promoted online by Jeremy Gilley, was marked by over a hundred million people in a hundred countries. We now have the resources to create movements in minutes but even before this the impact of change was awesome. Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 10,000 days for treason in South Africa before becoming the country's first democratically elected leader, Live Aid raised £150 million for Ethiopia and was seen by an estimated 1.5 billion and Martin Luther King's dreams, well they became reality. So can ours. Dare to dream, dare to fight, dare to change.

This is our generation, we have the strength, we have the tools, we have the expertise - do we have the will? At Worldeka we think so and with all those things combined, well screw it we can do anything! We're the adults now and we get to decide what that means. Together if we dare to dare, the ramifications can be monumentous - Individually we're cool, together we're awesome! So let's do it, right here right now, together - Let's change the world!
